Over Iris Dam Hoops

I’ve been flowing with (mostly) hoops for over eight years, and yet there’s still so much to explore. What started as a hobby has grown into a passion for movement, performance and teaching.

These days, I perform with LED and fire hoops, at festivals such as Landjuweel, events like World Pride and offer entertainment for corporate events.

I’m also a certified hoop instructor, teaching dancing with a single hoop and twin hooping. I offer weekly hoopclasses, jams and events such as teambuilding or kids parties. I also went abroad to teach for example at the international circus festival Roztoc in Czechia, hoop convention SWHOOP in Bristol and retreat center TADAH in Turkey.

My own hoop journey has also taken me to conventions across Europe, India and Guatemala, where I’ve learned from some of the best hoopers in the world. I’m constantly discovering new tricks, movement and ways to play with the hoop, and I love sharing that sense of exploration with others.
